Studio Development Intern or Co-Op

You're currently studying or have recently finished a degree in design, marketing, business, communications, or a related field. We're particularly interested if you bridge disciplines like design and business.
We are on the lookout for an intern or co-op candidate for Spring–Summer 2026, with a commitment of approximately 6 months (flexible timing).

This role is focused on supporting the founding director and the studio across all growth efforts, including business development, marketing, and social media. There will be opportunities to shape the role within these areas based on your strengths and curiosities. Interns and co-ops join Other Tomorrows to learn, chip in, have fun, and inspire us by providing a fresh perspective.

ABOUT YOU

You care deeply about design and are equally curious about how studios operate, sustain relationships, and grow. You're highly organized and detail-oriented, bringing clarity to complexity. You're a strong communicator who tailors messages to different audiences and knows how to tell a compelling story. You're comfortable wearing multiple hats, figuring things out as you go, and making things happen. You take feedback well and move seamlessly between strategy, business development, and storytelling. You want to be part of a small, passionate team building a culture-first design studio. Most importantly, you're scrappy, open-minded, hungry for growth, and ready to jump in on whatever challenges come your way.

What You'll be Doing

-Collaborate 1:1 with the founding director and broader studio team to support business development, marketing, and sales.

-Research, identify, and document potential partners and opportunities

-Track leads, deadlines, coordinate meetings, capturing notes, and tracking action items.

-Support content creation for proposals, case studies, and outreach materials.

-Assist with marketing efforts, including social media, newsletters, and website updates.

-Stay up to date on design trends and industry opportunities (and bring fresh perspectives) to inspire yourself and the team.

-Proactively jump in wherever you're needed (we love people who share our entrepreneurial spirit.)

-Learn, grow, ask questions, and have fun, getting real exposure into how a small design studio operates and grows.

Your Experience

-Intermediate understanding of design best practices and tools—Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, low-code web design platforms

-Strong digital organizational skills with experience in Airtable, spreadsheets, or similar platform-Exceptional attention to detail

-A good eye for layout, writing, or storytelling-Excellent visual and verbal communication skills including command of written English

-Authorized to work in the United States

-Currently in the Boston area or willing to relocate to work in person 3+ days per week (Other Tomorrows is a hybrid studio)

SALARY & LEVEL

This position is for a full-time internship/co-op at Other Tomorrows lasting approximately 6 months, with flexible timing from April to December 2026.

Pay: $30/hr
